The fix is to move the recording to the moment it happens. A tap on a phone when the shift starts. A tap when it ends. Breaks, overtime and a late finish recorded on the day, not recalled a week later. By Friday the week already exists. The manager reads down the column, deals with the two things that look odd, and approves it.
That is the whole change: from building the week to checking it. Providers who make the switch tell us the Sunday disappears first, and the arguments go shortly after.
